Violet's Signature Dress

I mentioned in my last post that a dear friend was making a very special dress for Violet.  It arrived a few days ago and it is amazing!   I am so thankful to have such wonderful dolly friends, but some dolly friends go way beyond that.  Our friendship goes much deeper than appreciating dolls.  I am very blessed!

 

Isn't it beautiful!  She made the dress from fabric covered with violets.  How perfect!  I love the colors on her.  She even sent a gorgeous silk ribbon for her hair.   The sweet friend who made this dress is Jenny Anderson.   She is mega talented and truly can do anything!  

While discussing Violet's measurements, she made a bodice and sent it to me to try on her for a test fit.  It fit very nicely.  When she sent the violets dress, she also sent me enough fabric to add a skirt to the bodice.  So Violet got a gorgeous fancy dress and a play dress.  Thank you so much, Jenny!
