I hope you all are doing well. We are all fine, but busy. I wanted to share a few things while I have the time to do so.
I have added a few things to my dolly collection
and parted with some others. I spotted this gorgeous little antique
doll bed on ebay and it is the perfect size for Vonnie, my sweet little
Schoenhut girl. I’m not sure of the age or origin of it, but I l love
it! It even has it’s original little wooden casters. They don’t make
things like this anymore! The mattress is made of an old pillowcase
filled with hay and sewn together on the bottom. The coverlet looks
like an old hankie with Battenburg lace trim. The silk pillow also
came with it.
The only thing better than having this sweet dolly bed is having the space to display it properly.

Thank you! I agree! It's sad that I have it stored now due to lack of a good place to display it. I do pull it out ever so often just to enjoy it. :o)
