I did add some dolls to my collection. I have always had a special place in my heart for Raggedy Ann. The first doll I remember having was a Raggedy Ann. Several have come here to live. All three are handmade one-of-a-kind dolls. I will spare you all the details, and leave you with a cute photo of them. This photo does not include Woody Ann, my custom wooden Raggedy. She has a post devoted to her already.

Well, Hello There 2017!
Wow, it has been quite some time since I last blogged. The months leading up to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day are always very busy. Our family enjoyed all the holidays and I hope you all did as well.

This first month of 2017 is fading fast. Time seems to go by so quickly these days. I hope your New Year is wonderful and blessed!

I love Raggedy Ann! I have been reading some of her original stories to my little one. I recently found a matched set of Raggedy Ann and Andy at the thrift store...they are older, vintage ones made by Georgene Novelties. Very well loved, but I like them best that way!
ReplyDeleteHi Angela! That's a nice score of the Georgene Raggedies! They are very popular among collectors. I had a Silsby face Georgene, but decided to sell it. I really love them all, which is a slippery slope! :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn! No need to start over on the blog--just start writing again! :~) Love the Raggedies! They're some of my absolute favorite kinds of dolls.
