Happy 2016

I hope the New Year has been good for everyone so far.  I have been doing a little of this and that.  My last dolly project from 2015 lingered on into being my first doll project of 2016.  Hubby was on vacation and we had our granddaughter a lot that week, so we spent our time together instead of working on projects.
The little project I'm referring to is a Gail Wilson Peg Doll Kit.  It's one of the older versions.  As soon as I opened the package, I put the little peg doll together.

It didn't take too long before I sanded, painted and put the other pieces together.

Peg is really cute, if I say so myself.

Here she is with her tiny little things.

And here she is in Hitty Jane's room with Hitty Button to show just how tiny she is.

Now if I can manage to make the tiny quilt.  Still deciding on that, as sewing is not my cup of tea.   I think the little rope bed is adorable, but will be even more so with a quilt.

What's going in your your dolly world?  I'd love to hear all about it.

Until next time....blessings!

I'm Back!

Hi bloggy friends!  My blog name has changed, but it's me, Bama/Carolyn from Dolls of an Era.  It has been a long time since I had a blogger blog.  I wish I could have kept the old blog name, but wasn't allowed to. Hopefully this new blog will work without all the issues I had after being hacked.

I will return with a real blog post soon.  I hope you are well.

Blessings!
