Beautiful dolls!
I hope I look this good when I am 200...but it is doubtful :-)Amazing the staying power of this wonderful doll.warmly,Beth
Thank you, Judi! :o)
Me too, Beth! Most definitely amazing! :o)
I wish we could all have an actual birthday party together for her. :~)
Me too, Jan! I hope she has as many admirers in another hundred years. My guess is, there will be many more. :o)
What lovely dolls! Is the doll really 200 years old? That is amazing.
OK, I've been doing some reading and now I see that Izannah Walker was a doll maker! Wow, those dolls are beautiful.
Hi Brenda! Yes she was and I believe she was the first woman in history to ever receive a patent and it was for her dolls. :o)
Brenda, forgot to add that the dolls are new reproductions. Thank you! Izannah's 200th birthday was last month, so surviving dolls are probably at least 150 years old, give or take a few years. :o)
